What Hillary Clinton taught actress Chloe Moretz about Twitter beefs

Don’t know who Chloë Grace Moretz is? A quick primer: She’s the 19-year-old actress who spoke at the Democratic National Convention but whose greater claim to fame is a brief Twitter beef with the Kardashians.

Moretz, who wasn’t a fan of the foolery, suggested on Twitter that industry folks “get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what’s ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world.” More Kardashian clapbacks ensued.

Now, according to the budding starlet with nearly 55 films in the bank, she’s learned a valuable lesson about when to shout and when to sit down, thanks to Hillary Clinton.

“I think I gave my attention to people that didn’t deserve my attention,” said Moretz in a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter. “But also I realized that being the most opinionated and loud person in the room is not always the most impactful. I learned that from Hillary.”

Moretz said that the Democratic nominee told the young actress that “it’s great to be feisty,” but it’s not always effective.

“Let everyone else bicker and throw their words around,” Moretz recalled Clinton advising her, “and then you come in with the quiet voice and that will be the most impactful.”
